Tony Allen and Jeff Mills – Tomorrow Comes The Harvest
When you bring together two music legends, of the stature of Tony Allen and Jeff Mills, the chances of them creating a masterpiece are naturally very high. And what is Tomorrow Comes The Harvest (2018) if not a work of art? The EP, as per the description of @rollingstone, is a scene set for “cross-generational, cross-disciplinary, cross-continental exchange with very high potential.” The dynamic range is impressive and even if the contributions of both artists are evident, they aren’t overpowering in relation to one another, mixing seamlessly in what can be considered one of the best collaborations of the decade.
