Leeds’ based klezmer/Balkan beats/gypsy jazz bohemians
They describe their sound “frenzied hyper klezmer”, which gives you an idea but doesn’t even come close. BBC Radio Leeds Introducing presenter Alan Raw did a better job saying “prepare to dance till it nearly does you in”.
Four chaps, four instruments, three voices and a confluence of styles ranging from gypsy jazz to British indie, alternative folk to flamenco et cetera
Mediterranean / Middle Eastern sounds to the Balkans and east Europe, however he is not foreign to the electronic beats, “Its start to get really interesting when you get producers/DJ mixing old sound with new beats”.
